FAQ
EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE YOU RIDE
-
An e-bike, or electric bike, is a bicycle equipped with an electric motor that assists with pedaling. It makes cycling easier, especially on hilly terrain or longer distances.
-
No, you do not need a specific license to rent an e-bike in most areas. However, you must be of legal age and follow local cycling regulations.

-
We are located in the old building at Harbor Club Curio Collection, where a diving center used to be in Saint Lucia. You can find us right behind the flower shop—just look for the arrows pointing to Sunset E-Bikes.
-
Pick-up and drop-off services are available at an additional cost, which varies based on location and season.
-
We recommend wearing comfortable clothing and closed-toed shoes. Don’t forget to bring sunscreen and a water bottle, especially for longer rides.
-
- Typically, our premium e-bikes last between 25 and 80 miles. The duration will depend on the rider’s weight, how the bike gear system is used, the amount of pedal assistance used, the type of bike, and the type of terrain (hilly vs. .non-hilly).
- To attain the maximum range, use the gear system and apply a lower level of pedal assist.
- Especially when going uphill, make sure you are in a lower gear. If you run out of battery, the beauty is you will still be able to pedal and use gears and ride like a regular bike.
- If you’re using a bike for more than a day , we recommend swapping batteries at the hub store in Harbor club if you don’t have the charger with you. This ensures you can continue to enjoy your ride without any interruptions.
-
While riding an e-bike is easier than a standard bike, we still require that you know how to ride a bicycle before joining us on a tour.
For beginners we recommend an evaluation test ride before renting the e-bike.
We make sure you can properly balance, get on and off the bike, make controlled turns, and properly use the gear system and the pedal assist feature. The safety of our guests is our top priority and we reserve the right to cancel a reservation if we believe a rider does not have enough bike riding experience. This will be determined during the test ride.
